How to produce posters using the Wide Format Printer

Many of you are giving poster presentations at the moment, and need to print your work in A1 size. This is much too large for our normal MFDs (which have a maximum paper size of A3). So if you want to make a big impact, and create a poster presentation that people will remember, you’ll need to use one of our special Wide Format Printers.

Wide Format Printing

There are machines at both PRD LRC and the Dame Elizabeth Esteve-Coll Centre (Knights Park). They work slightly differently to the normal LRC MFD – you’ll need to save your document in PDF file format before sending it to the Wide Format Printer. Don’t worry if you’re not sure how to do that – a member of LRC staff can help you out.

More details and pricing information are available here. Step-by-step instructions showing how to use the Wide Format Printer can be found in the Service desk portal.
